We can advise you on where your premises are at greatest risk, and the best means of detection and prevention, thus ensuring that you meet your legal obligations in terms of fire regulations and safety standards, and your insurance requirements.
We offer a range of Fire Alarm Systems to meet your requirements. However, there is a distinct difference between Conventional and Addressable Systems. With a Conventional System, if a connected device detects signs of a fire within your premises, such as smoke or heat, it will send a signal to the control panel and set off the alarm but it does not pinpoint which device has been triggered. So, for example, the panel will show you which 'zone' of your premises the fire has been detected. Zone 1 could be set up as the ground floor, zone 2 could be set up as the first floor, etc.
Addressable Systems not only indicate the general area of a fault or fire but also give a precise location at the control panel such as "bedroom 2 first floor FIRE". This means that reaction times in the event of a fault or fire situation are greatly increased. Pre alarm warnings can also be given to allow time to investigate before a full alarm is reached.
In some instances, we would recommend that you upgrade from a Conventional to an Addressable System. For free advice or a free survey, contact us.
We recognise that in today’s market there are a variety of projects ranging from ultra-modern new builds to historical listed buildings, which sometimes pose a challenge when considering the installation of a traditional wired Fire Alarm System.
To overcome these challenges, we supply and install wireless Fire Alarm Systems using the most up to date radio technology on the market which can offer the right solution for our clients in many challenging circumstances. The installation of a wireless systems provides minimal disruption to a building and its surroundings.
In certain environments, early detection of fire is vital as it could have devastating consequences for a business. We design and install Aspirating Smoke Detection systems, such as FAAST (Fire Alarm Aspiration Sensing Technology™). FAAST is a new generation of smoke detectors from Honeywell, that use advanced technologies and software to deliver the earliest and most accurate method of smoke detection, which can detect fires at very early stage, often before visible smouldering takes place, or before an open fire and intense smoke develops. The FAAST device range is designed to protect people and assets in even the most challenging environments where standard detection methods fail or are prone to false alarms, or in areas which may not previously have been protected.
We can arrange for the monitoring of your Fire Alarm System by an independent professional monitoring service which will ensure that your alarm is monitored 24/7.
We are BAFE registered for our fire protection services which ensures that we meet all the latest industry standards and that we are independently audited.
We understand that overseeing and dealing with each aspect of your security system individually can be a challenging, time-consuming and unproductive task. With today’s technologies, this is no longer necessary.
We are able to provide integrated security systems which combine a range of advanced technologies into one platform, by using the most up to date computer software, improving the functionality of your security system, whilst saving you time and money.
Your Fire Alarm System is only effective if it continues to work properly. For this reason, we strongly recommend that regular maintenance is carried out by us. Regular maintenance may be an insurance or other legal requirement.
