Apply NowWe are recruiting two Apprentice Fire and Security Systems Engineers to join our team, who will need to complete a three year Apprenticeship as part of this role. We have offices in King’s Lynn and Wroxham and our work extends across East Anglia. Candidates are required to have a full driving license for this position.
You will join a team of Security Systems Engineers who have a wealth of experience between them and will be able to provide the required on the job training and support to assist you in successfully completing your Apprenticeship.
You will learn how to install and commission intruder alarms, fire alarms, CCTV and access control systems, how to fault-find and fix faults, how to carry out routine maintenance, how to make system improvements and variations, etc. You will learn how to work to industry and British Standards. You will work in commercial and domestic settings.
The position is full-time. You may be required to work overtime as and when required and you will receive additional pay for this.
Rates of pay will be in accordance with the Apprentice National Minimum Wage to begin with, but any previous relevant experience will be taken into consideration. Rates of pay will be regularly reviewed as you progress through your course, to match your skills and ability.
Full time employment is subject to successful security screening and DBS checks, which is an industry requirement.
