Fire and Security System Apprentice

We are recruiting an Apprentice Security Systems Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be required to complete a three year Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician Apprenticeship.

You will join a team of Security Systems Engineers who have a wealth of experience between them and will be able to provide the required on the job training and support to assist you in successfully completing your course.

The position is full-time. Hours of work are 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4pm on Fridays. You may be required to work overtime as and when required and you will receive additional pay for this.

Rates of pay will be in accordance with the Apprentice National Minimum Wage to begin with, but any previous relevant experience will be taken into consideration. Rates of pay will be regularly reviewed as you progress through your course.

Candidates are required to have a driving license for this position.

Full time employment is subject to successful security screening and DBS checks, which is an industry requirement.

Fire and Security Systems Engineer

We are recruiting an experienced Fire and Security Systems Engineer to join our team based in King’s Lynn, on a full time basis.

About the role:

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Installing and maintaining commercial and domestic Fire and Security Systems, including intruder alarms, access control and CCTV systems, to industry standards and customer requirements. Knowledge of Kentec, Advanced, Texecom, Pyronix and HIK systems is preferable.
  • Attending breakdowns, fault finding and resolving issues identified and communicating efficiently with customers.
  • Identifying opportunities for system additions/upgrades where appropriate and communicating this to the customer and reporting back to the office.
  • Willingness to work out of normal office hours as and when required.

Salary:
