This year, CTS Security are delighted to have taken on a further three Apprentice Engineers to join their engineering team; all of whom are undertaking their Level 3 Fire and Security Systems Technician Apprenticeship. The CTS team have recognised that the key to recruiting and retaining quality staff is to encourage and support formal training whilst in employment and allowing staff to grow and progress in their roles.
Joel joined CTS at the beginning of 2021, part-way through his Level 3 Fire and Security Systems Technician Apprenticeship which he is completing through Lincoln College. Joel is due to complete his End Point Assessment early in 2022 and has progressed superbly since he started with the CTS team. Joel now has his own company van, phone and laptop and is no longer permanently paired with a senior engineer as he is able to work to an exceptional standard independently.
Scott and Charlie are progressing with their Level 3 Fire and Security Systems Technician Apprenticeships through Skills for Security. Scott is entering his third year, and Charlie, his second. Both are progressing fantastically since commencing their courses at CTS.
Rahim and Ryan joined CTS in November 2021 to begin their Level 3 Fire and Security Systems Technician Apprenticeship in January 2022, which they will be complete via Skills for Security. CTS warmly welcomes to Rahim and Ryan!
Earlier this year, Jon completed his IT Apprenticeship. Jon has been with CTS for a few years now and he has become a valued member of the team, providing internal IT and technical support, as well as technical support for the CTS customer base. With Jon’s technical knowledge, he is able to provide support and training to the CTS Engineers and he will be taking on an additional “in-house training” role in the new year.
