Hughes Electrical has been a longstanding client of CTS Security. We designed, supplied and installed a monitored Intruder and Fire Alarm System at Hughes’ warehouse located at Airport Business Park,
Southend, Essex.
Hughes continue to choose us to look after their security requirements at their various stores, warehouses and distribution centers around the country.
We have carried out several new Intruder and Fire alarm installations for Hughes over the past few years and have also taken over the maintenance of some of their existing security systems at sites which were not previously on our books. We now look after more than 30 sites for Hughes.

For the Intruder Alarm, we designed, supplied and installed a monitored system, using a combination of Texecom and Pyronix products.
For the monitored Fire Alarm, we designed, supplied and installed a Category P1 Addressable system, which includes automatic smoke detection, beams, call points and sounders throughout the premises, using a Kentec addressable fire panel and Apollo XP 95 devices.
The benefit of an addressable Fire Alarm system is that in the event of a fire, the panel will provide information as to a precise location of the problem, which allows for earlier detection and therefore faster combative action.
